Why Does This Text Work to Get a Response?
Ask questions.
One of the most effective ways to get a man to respond to your texts is to ask him a question.
Just don't overdo it.
Plus here, in this example, he must respond in order to get the details.
You've left him hanging and given him no choice but to chase.
The inclusion of "handsome" will remove his fear of rejection and shows him that you are interested in him.
The "yum" and the ellipsis "..." reveal your playful side and sets the stage for some back-and-forth flirty conversation.
What Kind of Responses Should You Expect?
Provided he is even the slightest interested or attracted to you he will respond quickly (unless he is unavailable to chat).
Expect some immediate playful banter.
What If You Haven't Talked Much with Him?
I'd leave out the "handsome" and "yum" parts.
The rest is flirty enough and not over-the-top.

This text falls more under the category of cute and flirty.
Only use this on a man you are in a relationship with or with someone you've held a lot of conversation with.
Even if you aren't sure if he likes you back, this is a very effective text message to send.
Why Does This Text Get a Response?
It touches his heart and creates an emotional bond.
Everyone, man or woman, wants to be liked for who they are.
It's just that the word "admired" is more powerful than "liked".
We all want to be admired and appreciated for our character and other qualities that make us the person we have become.
Showing admiration and that you are paying attention to character traits will make you stand out over ALL other women.
He will appreciate you for it and respect you.
What Kind of Response Should You Expect?
He will gush just thinking about your response.
The curiosity will drive him crazy wondering what you have spotted about him that possibly no one else has.
In your reply, pinpoint a specific thing he does that you admire or choose an adjective that describes the quality.
Here Are Some Examples of Showing Admiration
- "I admire how persistent to get what you want."
- "How calm and enjoyable you are to be around even during stressful situations."

Your challenge will be to keep the conversation going.
While he will love knowing that someone notices the inner qualities that he takes pride in about himself, he may not have much to say to keep going himself.

This kind of text will lead to flirty back-and-forth conversation.
Who can resist a fun game?
Why Does This Text Get a Response?
He will be dying with anticipation wanting to see your flirty made-up response.
Plus, he will want to tease you by making up the prize that you will win.
What Kind of Response Should You Expect?
He'll probably throw a flirty question back at you, like "What do you want to win?"
